Ketamine IV Therapy

Ketamine is an FDA-approved anesthetic that has been used safely and effectively in hospitals worldwide since the 1960’s. Over the past several years Ketamine therapy has grown in popularity as a highly effective treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD and chronic pain.

Ketamine IV therapy at Optimal Medical Group consists of six infusions over the course of 2 weeks. During this time, our team will work with you to monitor the effects of the treatment and provide support.

Prior to starting the treatment, you will have a consultation with Dr. Lucia or Dr. Juan to answer any questions you might have and determine if ketamine therapy is right for you. If the decision is made to proceed with IV therapy, you will usually be scheduled to receive three treatments per week for two weeks. If deemed appropriate, treatment can begin immediately following the consultation. We will provide a calm environment to help you relax during the infusion.
